Every Friday in March, the amazing Brownman Ali is presenting a trumpet tribute series, diving deep into the music of four jazz legends: Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Freddie Hubbard, and Miles Davis. I’ve played this series a few times before and it is always an incredible amount of fun delving into the tunes of these trumpet geniuses, and if you check out some of the cats lined up in the bands, this series is going to feature some of Toronto’s finest!
