During the Convergence sessions with the Nick Maclean Quartet, Brownman Ali (sick as a dog but still sounding world-class) had to step out for a breather… so myself, Ben Duff & Jacob Wutzke jumped in for some totally unplanned trio takes.
Here’s our off-the-cuff version of the Victor Young classic “Beautiful Love” — just vibing, warming up, and getting our heads in the game before diving back into Quartet material.
